Not yet tried Cornwall’s coolest feasting and golf concept at Halwyn? You’re in the culinary bunker!
Halwyn, which launched a year ago, isn’t a golf club in any conventional sense. It’s more of a mash-up of golfing fun (high-tech driving range and mini golf) with contemporary aesthetics and high-quality cooking in a rural spot near Newquay.
Unlike the ruthless competition that takes place on its mini-golf course, Halwyn’s casually confident dishes are made for sharing. Visit to feast on snacks such as cod croquettes with smoked cheddar, salsa verde and aioli and mains like barbecued sheftalia sausage on flatbread with tzatziki, lemon cabbage, pickled shallot and parsley.
