Sound bath experiences are soaring in popularity among the meditatively minded, who find the soothing vibrations ease them into a state of deep relaxation. Immerse yourself in five of our favourites

SLO | YIN, South West and national

International wellness professional Jessica Sloyan’s SLO | YIN offers sound bath experiences designed to create space for deep rest and reconnection.

Combining crystal singing bowls, gongs and other therapeutic sound instruments with guided meditation and breathwork, each session invites guests to switch off and immerse themselves in sound.

Jessica is based in the South West but travels across the UK and internationally, appearing at selected events, festivals and wellness destinations. She also runs sessions for private groups, retreats, spas and hotels. Her latest offering, SLO | YIN WEIGHTLESS (pictured at Calcot Manor & Spa), takes things onto the water with a floating sound bath created specifically for pools and spa environments.

Anneli Juliet and Wilder Sauna, Dartmoor

Sacred Sound & Sauna Nature Immersion is a collaboration between Anneli Juliet and Wilder Sauna at Dartmeet. The joint experience brings together sauna, sound and the wild Dartmoor landscape to create a space to slow down and breathe.

Moving between sauna and cool water roots the experience firmly in nature, while Anneli weaves sound throughout by using crystal bowls, voice, flute, chimes, drum and other instruments to create an organic sound journey. Post-sauna, the group comes together beneath the trees for an immersive sound bath, lying under blankets around the fire as the sounds move through the space.

Bishopstrow, Warminster

Drift into sound-inspired serenity at Bishopstrow’s Floating Sound Bath Experience.

Guests float in the warm waters of the outdoor pool beneath open skies as the resonant tones of crystal bowls, chimes and ambient sound ripple across the water’s surface. With birdsong above and gentle vibrations below, each note dissolves tension, stills the mind and allows a reconnection with the self.

For an extra dose of tranquillity, opt for the sundown experience, where the sound bath is preceded by two hours in the spa.
