Just on the edge of the busy little town of Marazion, this boutique hotel offers contemporary indulgence and an exciting dining experience which is inspired by nature.

From its hillside setting the views out across St Mount’s Bay are outstanding, while the menus created by head chef Ross Sloan showcase some of west Cornwall’s best produce alongside lesser known native ingredients like foraged seaweeds, alexanders and sea asters.

Bag a table on the outdoor terrace at lunch and feast on freshly crafted sandwiches, mussels mariniere and an amazing view of St Michael’s Mount. It’s also a fine spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or glass of wine, perhaps with a tempting bar snack like the Asian-style salt and pepper squid.

If the weather takes a turn you can always move inside to the sleek restaurant with its cosy banquette seating, polished wooden floor and modern wood burner. Ross’ inspired a la carte menu includes dishes such as hake, mussel fritters, celeriac, samphire and dulse, or mallard with beets, jerusalem artichokes, smoked potato and redcurrant.

This is a peaceful spot at any time of the year and, in true Cornish style, it has a well-kept, landscaped garden. There are also nineteen gorgeous bedrooms, along with a treatment room for the ultimate in coastal relaxation.
