The team at The Bucket & Spade in Shaldon, Devon, are pulling out all the stops this Easter weekend – including a visit from the Easter bunny

Shaldon’s sheltered shingle beach isn’t the only reason to make a trip to the south Devon village this Easter: over the Easter weekend, the team at award-winning The Bucket & Spade have devised a host of delicious treats and fun experiences for all the family.

On Saturday 16 April and Sunday 17 April, a very special breakfast menu will feature scrummy seasonal treats such as an Easter pancake stack topped with Cadbury Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs, alongside crowd-pleasing house favourites such as traditional full English brekkies and eggs benedict with glazed ham and hollandaise. Future foodies who visit between 9.30am-11am will also receive an Easter gift and get the chance to meet the Easter bunny.

No plans yet for Easter lunch? Let The Bucket & Spade look after the prep, cooking and washing up, and invite your nearest and dearest for a sociable Sunday lunch at the coastal cafe and restaurant. For the main event, guests can choose between West Country topside of beef, thyme and rosemary pork, rustic fish pie or a very special three-bird roast. There’s also a tempting selection of desserts that include hot cross bun bread and butter pudding, Easter egg cheesecake and apple tarte tatin.

Booking is advised as the restaurant and cafe at Coast View Holiday Park in Shaldon fills up fast.
