The Sloe Burner cocktail

Home » Good stuff » The Sloe Burner cocktail

Mix things up this Christmas by serving a gently steaming cocktail. We got the deets on a new classic that’s been created in a collaboration between Frobishers Juices and mixologist Sam Edmunds of Lympstone Manor

Sloe Burner cocktail

Serves 1

You will need

Frobishers Cranberry Juice 75ml
Henriques & Henriques Finest Full Rich 5yo Madeira 35ml
Chase Oak Aged Sloe & Mulberry Gin (or other good quality sloe gin) 35ml
Teapigs Super Fruit Teabag 1
Rosé champagne optional side

  1. Heat the juice, madeira and gin over a gentle heat in a small pan.
  2. Transfer the warm mixture to heatproof glasses.
  3. Add the teabag and infuse for 1–2 minutes before serving.
  4. Serve the sloe burner as it is, or with a shot of pink champagne on the side as a festively fizzy palate cleanser.
