The team at food Magazine and Indy Coffee Guide set up Indy Coffee Box a year ago and it’s had some amazing feedback.
GQ described it as the coffee subscription service they ‘especially like’, The Independent chose it as one of its 10 Best Coffee Subscriptions, while The Telegraph, Olive, Forbes and BBC Radio Devon have also given it a lot of love.
It works like this: each month we work with the UK’s leading small and independent roasteries (to be included they must reach the Indy Coffee Guides’ strict quality criteria) and curate a selection of top-notch speciality grade coffees.
We deliver whole beans (not pre-ground) to guarantee the very best coffee drinking experience, because coffee loses flavour the moment it’s ground. And, because the beans are freshly roasted just a few days before being sent out, we deliver a double whammy of deliciousness.
Customers get to choose between boxes that hold two, three or four bags of beans – depending on how much coffee they drink at home – and the coffee is accompanied by newspaper Brew, which features tasting notes on the month’s beans, cafe-inspired recipes and brew guides so subscribers can create a slice of coffee shop culture at home.
The boxes are delivered once a month (around the 21st) so that the coffee is at optimum freshness. Orders need to be made by the 14th of the month. Prices start at £14.99 (including postage) for a Try-it-out Box, and there are monthly subscriptions, gift boxes and grinders also available on the website.
Give our comp a whirl and you could be one of four readers to get an Indy Coffee Box delivered to your door in June.
