For a feast of creative dishes crafted from freshly picked organic veg, a visit to The Riverford Field Kitchen is a delight
The chefs at the award winning field-to-fork restaurant in south Devon enjoy a luscious supply of vegetables and herbs grown metres away in the kitchen garden and on the farm.
Menus change daily to make the most of what’s in abundance and, while grass-reared meat and sustainable fish are on the menu, the seasonal, organic veg is the real star of each plate.
‘Uniquely, there is just one sitting and the whole restaurant is served together at the same time,’ says Riverford’s Ali Anstee.
‘The kitchen is open so you can see our chefs at work. There are no starters or mains, just a set menu of six to eight dishes which are served together. Portions are generous so there’s plenty to go around, and when it comes to pudding we invite guests up to the kitchen to choose from a wickedly tempting selection.’
To be in with a chance of winning just answer the following question …
