The Alverton
Closing date: August 20, 2022

A host of musical talent is set to perform at The Alverton in Cornwall this summer and we’ve got a pair of tickets for the final show – plus an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s gorgeous suites – to give away to one lucky winner.

The team at The Alverton are collaborating with the crew at Sharp’s Brewery in Rock to host a line‑up of Summer Sessions at the historic hotel in the heart of Truro. Local artists, including Mog Jones, Sam Richardson and Miranda Brook will take to the alfresco stage in the leafy gardens, where attendees will be able to soak up the summer vibes with a refreshing pint of Offshore Pilsner or a carefully crafted cocktail.

As well as imbibing craft drinks, guests will be able to dine on delicious small plates while listening to the live music. A relaxed menu of tapas dishes – think fresh Cornish seafood, delicious veggie plates and crowd‑pleasing favourites – will be available throughout the performances.

Rounding out the Summer Sessions at the closing party on September 8 is Britain’s Got Talent finalist Josh Curnow. The Cornish singer, who’s supported acts such as Atomic Kitten, KT Tunstall and Scouting For Girls, will perform some of his own songs and popular covers in the Great Hall.

Tickets for the Summer Sessions cost £17 and include a pint of Off shore or a cocktail. Tickets for the Josh Curnow closing party cost £22 and also include a pint of Off shore or a cocktail.
