Cotswolds foodie destination to open new deli

Roots + Seeds Deli, Cotswolds

The team behind Cirencester’s Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden announce plans for a new deli

Toby Baggott and Sam Lawson-King (pictured above) only opened Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden at the Old Kennels on the edge of Cirencester Park in April 2023 yet the duo are already making plans for a sister venue. Due to open on March 9 and located directly opposite the original restaurant, Roots + Seeds Deli will stock glorious produce from Toby and Sam’s favourite local suppliers and artisans.

In-keeping with the team’s sustainable ethos, the deli will be an extension of the restaurant which sources much of its produce from within 25 miles of the park. Alongside seasonal veg and picks from Roots + Seeds’ own kitchen garden, customers can expect to find an extended range of products from local indies such as coffee from Ritual Coffee Roasters in Cheltenham, cheese from King Stone Dairy (also in Cheltenham), Gloucestershire-grown Bensons the Juicers drinks and head chef Sam Idoine’s legendary focaccia.

‘Everything our suppliers deliver to the kitchen will be available to buy in the new deli,’ says Toby. ‘We want to celebrate the amazing produce grown on our doorstep and introduce our incredible dedicated suppliers to a wider audience.’
