Food Magazine is created by Salt: a collective of like-minded souls who believe the best things in life are found in nature – from luscious produce to plunging into the sea on a warm May morning – or created by skilled artisans (we’re suckers for freshly baked ‘real’ bread, astonishingly creative cooking and handcrafted coffee).

We value authenticity, looking after the planet, being fair and honest, and doing the right thing by people.

Since the beginning we’ve been banging the drum for supporting the local economy, because it supports small independent businesses, reduces energy use and builds vibrant communities.

That’s why we launched Food Magazine in 2003 and why, as we’ve grown, we’ve added projects such as the Indy Coffee Guides and Indy Cafe Cookbook, the Trencherman’s Guide and Indy Coffee Box to our portfolio: they all support small independent businesses and celebrate beautiful things done well.

Because we love delicious design we aim to make everything we do pleasing to the eye, and we also create beautiful print and digital work for a handpicked group of clients who share our outlook on life.
