The best places to eat, stay, shop and visit in the South West

About Food Lifestyle

Food Lifestyle is a quarterly magazine that celebrates and curates the most interesting, special and unusual experiences to be found each season in the South West of England. We visit and write about fabulous places to stay, shop and visit in the region to give our readers recommendations they can trust.

The Food Lifestyle printed magazine and digital channels are created by Salt Media, a collective of writers, creatives and curators based in the South West, led by founders Jo Rees and Nick Cooper. We value authenticity, creativity, looking after the planet and doing the right thing. Meet some of the team here.

Since we launched the previous incarnation of Food LifestyleFood Magazine – in 2003, we’ve been banging the drum for independence and creativity. As we’ve grown, we’ve added to our portfolio projects such as the Indy Coffee Guides (which reveal the best speciality coffee shops across the UK), the Indy Cafe Cookbooks and the Trencherman’s Guide (the esteemed 31-year-old dining guide). They all share the values of supporting independent businesses and celebrating the good things in life done well.

In addition to writing, designing and producing our own publications, we make magazines, digital content, books and publications for other organisations across the UK and beyond. We love delicious design and aim to make everything we do pleasing to the eye. If you’d like to know more about working with us, drop us a line at [email protected] – we’d love to hear from you.
