Frobishers juices and soft-drinks specialist has become B Corp certified, joining a growing global community of positive-minded businesses
The Devon maker of juices, pressés and fusions declares its B Corp status to be confirmation from an independent source of its care for staff, local community, customers and the planet.
‘I believe companies like ours have an important role to play in shaping the future of sustainable business, by showing that it is possible to balance profit with people and planet,’ says David Pearce, managing director of Frobishers.
‘We want to celebrate the great culture we have, how we look after our team and our long-standing relationships with our suppliers. Achieving B Corp accreditation reflects how we can use business as a force for positive change.’
A snapshot of Frobishers’ positive changes includes being carbon neutral, having fully recyclable packaging, introducing staff volunteer days, supporting FareShare Southwest to help tackle food waste, and partnering with St Petrock’s, a local charity supporting the homeless community in Exeter.
