Japanese restaurant Robun reveals Karaoke Bath, a dynamic bar delivering tunes, Tokyo-style tapas and cocktails
Robun, Bath’s go-to dining spot for creative Japanese food, is opening Bath Karaoke on March 1. The karaoke bar will be located above the smart Bath restaurant and provide locals and visitors with a new one-of-a-kind experience to elevate Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in the city.
In addition to a wide selection of music to sing along to, there’ll be delicious bites in the form of Tokyo-style tapas – and considering the quality of food served at its downstairs Trencherman’s Guide-member restaurant, it’s guaranteed to be good.
Robun is also renowned for its exciting cocktail list which features intriguing concoctions such as Doki Doki, which is crafted from pisco, strawberry syrup, elderflower cordial, Yuzushu, cold-brew jasmine tea and egg white (for that smooth foam). Those keen to take advantage of the bar list will find bottomless sessions every weekend from 12-3pm and 4-7pm.
‘We’re thrilled to introduce Bath Karaoke to the vibrant nightlife scene in Bath,’ says Robun founder Roger Payne. ‘Our aim is to provide a dynamic and exhilarating space where guests can let loose, sing their hearts out and create unforgettable memories with friends.’
Even if you don’t plan to hit the mic at Karaoke Bath, visit to soak up the lively atmosphere, sip some well-crafted cocktails and sample authentic Japanese food.
