Little gem lettuce 2 heads
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to season

  1. Cut the lettuces into wedges (about 6-8 wedges per head), keeping the root end attached to hold everything together.
  2. Brush them all over with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place lettuce on the bars of the barbecue and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly charred and a little wilted.
