The festival that celebrates Exmoor’s vibrant dining scene returns on February 1 with a stellar bill of regional restaurants
Exmoor Food Fest, the month-long event where participating restaurants offer special menu deals, is back for 2023 with a fresh line-up of venues. From cosy pub suppers to unique fine-dining experiences, there’s something to get everyone eating out across the region this February.
Participating venues confirmed so far include The Antidote in Ilfracombe, Seacliff Restaurant at Sandy Cove Hotel, The Cove at Sandy Cove Hotel, La Petite Bouchée in Witheridge, The Farmers Arms in Combe Florey, The Exmoor White Horse Inn in Exford, The Royal Oak Inn in Withypool, The Royal Oak Inn at Luxborough, The Rest and Be Thankful Inn at Wheddon Cross, The Martlet Inn at Langford Budville, Croydon Hall in Rodhuish, Tarr Farm Inn at Dulverton, New Coast Kitchen in Croyde and Duende in Wiveliscombe.
To mark the start of the festival, on January 25 a band on local chefs will convene at The Farmers Arms in Combe Florey to cook a special Exmoor Tasting Dinner. Hosted by MasterChef judge William Sitwell, the five-course feast will feature dishes from Jade Shorney (private chef), Anita-Clare Field (La Petite Bouchée), Gavin Athanasiou (La Chasse), Joseph Roach and Sophie Rogers (The Farmers Arms), and Tim Zekki (Duende). Tickets to the event cost £65 per person and can be purchased here.
