Fantastic Food Festivals heads to Royal Victoria Park for three days of culinary thrills from July 29-31. The gastronomic weekend includes masterclasses from celebrity chefs, delicious stalls to peruse and a glut of entertainment in the Jubilee Garden overlooking the beautiful vista of Bath
The exciting line-up of foodie activities includes a masterclass with pasta master extraordinaire Gennaro Contaldo, a demo in the Festival Kitchen by Bristol boy and TV chef Dean Edwards, a cocktail masterclass with Andy Clarke, and a chance to learn how to perfect pastry from Bake Off star Karen Wright. Nutritionist Eva Humphries will also be on hand, revealing how to whip up an indulgent-yet-healthy treat or two.
Artisan Coffee Co. Jubilee Garden will be bustling with Platinum Jubilee themed entertainment. Festivalgoers can dance the day away to vintage trio The Bluebird Belles, rustle up a balloon creation with Twistina, indulge in a cream tea, or sip an ale or glass of fizz from the bar. They can also get their daily coffee fix (or sample a decadent Espresso Martini) from the Artisan Coffee Co. truck.
The Jubilee Picnic Area will be the perfect spot to devour hot street food, while a tasting tent will offer temptations such as flaky buttery baked treats and award-winning cheeses to try. There’ll also be opportunities to win a place at the Festival Kitchen’s tasting table.
Kids are not left out of the foodie fun: writer and TV presenter Stefan Gates will dazzle all ages and species with his Mindblowing Science and Dogology shows, George Egg will deliver a one-man comedy show about how to cook with tools, and there’ll be family-friendly entertainment from the Super Pirates.
