Rock Oyster Festival’s 2024 headliners

Rock Oyster Festival 2024

Cornwall’s flagship food and music event, Rock Oyster Festival, has announced a stellar line-up for its 2024 outing at Dinham House

Rock Oyster Festival will return to the banks of the River Camel near Rock from July 25 to 28 for another food and music extravaganza.

Rockstar chefs on next year’s bill include Michelin-starred Nathan Outlaw of Outlaws Fish Kitchen in Cornwall’s Port Isaac, Tom Brown of London’s Cornerstone and Pearly Queen, Dorset restaurateur Mark Hix, Bath-based Breton Richard Bertinet, Ecuadorean-raised and Somerset-based Ana Ortiz, TikTok sensation Poppy O’Toole (aka Poppy Cooks), and Thuy Diem Pham of the Little Viet Kitchen in London.

There’ll also be home-grown talent from Cornwall cooking up a storm onstage, including chefs Jack Stein, Harbour House head chef Andrew Tuck, chef-patron Jude Kereama of Kota in Porthleven and Emily Scott.

Organisers are keeping their powder dry on the final big-name signings, but have promised exciting new features, from feasting concepts and a fresh serving of chef tipis to a jam-packed masterclass programme and sizzling hot street food.

Music headliners include pop band Sugababes, acoustic stalwart Newton Faulkner, guitar legends Bombay Bicycle Club, Irish singer and songwriter Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson (aka CMAT), blues rockers Willie and the Bandits, the Ultimate Abba Party and more.

There will also be plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy, including circus skill workshops, bushcraft, talks, comedy, cabaret, coasteering and surfing lessons.

Those under canvas can enjoy a huge campfire party on Thursday night, with fabulous food, fireside singalongs and a giant pub quiz. Alternatively, glamp it up in a bell tent, complete with phone charging station and flushing toilets.

Tickets are selling fast – book now with a £29 deposit and pay off the balance before March.
