Bristol’s charitable Christmas hamper returns

Bristol Food Box

Bristol Food Union’s successful Buy One, Give One hamper campaign returns this Christmas, giving thoughtful foodies the opportunity to get their mitts on bundle of artisan food and drink while also gifting a holiday provisions hamper to a family in need

As furlough ends, the cost of living rises and Christmas approaches, the team at Bristol Food Union foresee challenging times ahead and is once again taking an active role in supporting the local Bristol community.

The Buy One Give One hampers are available in sweet or savoury in two sizes (large £60, small £45) and feature a selection of foodie goodies from a range of Bristol indies. Local favourites to feature include wines from Bristol’s oldest merchant, Averys, Wiper and True beers, speciality coffee from Extract Coffee Roasters and South West farmhouse cheeses from Two Belly.

Once you’ve settled on which bundle you’d like to gift or indulge in, simply click the option to add a holiday provisions hamper to your cart for £20. While your food box is winging its way to you (or your chosen recipient), a holiday provisions hamper packed with festive meal ingredients and a few Christmas luxuries will be delivered to a local family in need.

Social enterprise Bristol Food Union was founded in 2020 by Bristol citizens in response to the pandemic and the challenges posed by Brexit. Through proactive and supportive collaboration, the Union helps food, farming and hospitality businesses to recover and has collaborated with those businesses to feed those most in need .
