New seafood cafe and restaurant to open in Bath

Flute, Bath

Bath’s buzzing George Street to welcome new all-day dining destination, Flute

For fruits de mer with a side of fun, Flute is set to be a firm favourite on the Bath food and drink scene. The all-day cafe, restaurant, wine bar and cocktail lounge will open on October 18 in the heart of the city at the Edgar Buildings on George Street.

Determined to create unforgettable dining experiences, talented Flute chefs Kasae Fraser and Alex Smith are teaming up with the pros at Wing of St Mawes to serve the freshest catch from Devon and Cornwall. Drop by in the morning for elevated brunch dishes such as next-level eggs royale, or make a day visit to graze on a menagerie of small plates from Flute’s seafood trolley brimming with smoked fish, fresh shellfish, potted dishes and more. In the evening, book a table for an intimate supper kicked off in style with a dozen oysters and bottle of English sparkling wine.

The team behind the new venue are putting as much creativity into the drinks list as the food menu, so expect innovative cocktails and an extensive wine list that majors of bubbles. A blend of simplicity and sophistication, the vibe will be classy coastal in the city, making Flute an excellent option for both a casual lunch and cosy date night.
