Iconic London restaurant set to open its first Devon outpost this summer
Exeter will welcome the latest member of The Ivy’s clutch of all-day dining destinations this summer when the iconic outpost opens on the city’s High Street. The much-anticipated launch will add a new level of glamour to the city centre’s restaurant scene thanks to Instagram-worthy interiors, smart dining and an alfresco terrace.
The building, which neighbours the historic cathedral, has been artfully refurbished to capture the classic style of the original London restaurant while also paying homage to this new setting. Expect Exeter-inspired artwork alongside bespoke gold fittings, beautiful soft furnishings and colourful floral designs.
The elegant establishment will serve brasserie-style menus of seasonal, British classics served from breakfast until late. Hero dishes include pea velouté with lemon and thyme ricotta, crushed peas and black pepper, and roasted scallops with crispy potato rösti, pea purée, parmesan sauce and grated truffle.
A smart drinks list, featuring locally inspired cocktails and an extensive selection of Champagnes, will complement the appealing gourmet offering.
