Truro Food Festival returns to the Cornish capital from October 1-3 with a cracking line-up of top chefs from across the region
Truro’s Lemon Quay will host three days of foodie festivities from October 1, where some of Cornwall’s finest cooking talent will be taking to the stage at the St Austell Brewery Chef’s Theatre. Headlining this year’s bill is Jack Stein (who was recently promoted to chef director of Stein’s Restaurants), MasterChef winner Ping Coombes, Great British Menu regular Jude Kereama and Andrew Tuck of St Kew Inn.
The free-to-attend chef’s demos will be taking place across the long weekend and will be a chance for keen cooks to glean tips and tricks from their hero chefs. Don’t miss masterclasses from Nick Hodges of The Alverton in Truro, Jeffrey Robinson of New Yard Restaurant near Helston, Nick Hemming of The Heron Inn at Malpas, Ben Harmer of The Penrose Kitchen in Truro, Neil Haydock of Watergate Bay Hotel, Ondine Hartgroves of Jasmine Spice, Mick Smith of Porthminster Beach Cafe, Ben Prior of No.27 The Terrace and more.
As well as watching demos, festivalgoers will get the chance to pick up gourmet goodies at the artisan markets, sample dishes from around the world at the street food pop-ups and watch live music from a range of artists with a pint of Tribute.
