Summer Sundowners at Craby’s

Craby's at The Godolphin

Craby’s at The Godolphin returns for the holiday season with a series of unmissable summer sessions. Here’s what you need to know about Marazion’s best sundowner spot

As places to toast the Marazion sunset go, you’ll struggle to find somewhere quite as special as The Godolphin. The hotel is located a stone’s throw from the majestic St Michael’s Mount, and Craby’s (its alfresco bar and terrace) serves up unrivalled views of Marazion Beach across the lapping waves to the castle.

Craby’s Sundowner Sessions present the perfect opportunity to drink in the dreamy view as you listen to live music, sample summer cocktails and tuck into a feast of grilled meats, veggies and seafood from the barbecue. Head chef Gareth Crosby builds his menus around the local catch and harvest, so expect everything to be superbly fresh and flavoursome. For the ultimate combo, pair your grilled supper with a Summertime Spritz: a refreshing blend of Little Bird Gin (the hotel’s own spirit), Sauvignon Blanc, elderflower, mint, cucumber and soda water.

Keep an eye on The Godolphin‘s social media for news of upcoming Sundowner Sessions, including the Father’s Day barbecue on June 9. Visitors can also rock up to Craby’s anytime, no reservation necessary, for casual drinks and light bites on the terrace – it’s dog friendly too.
