Zesty barbecue sauce
Slather this zesty barbecue sauce over your fave grilling meats

- Vegetable oil
- Onion 1 large, chopped
- Garlic 2 cloves, crushed
- Tinned tomatoes 400g
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
- White wine vinegar 1 tbsp
- Lemon 1, zest and juice
- Orange 1, zest and juice
- Dark brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Mustard powder 1 tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to season
- Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool slightly before pouring into a blender and blitzing until smooth.
- Use to marinade your fave barbecue meats or as the ultimate dipping sauce.
