This Devon Stormy cocktail is treacherously easy to make and drink

Serves    1
  • Dark or spiced rum 50ml
  • Sugar syrup 25ml
  • Lime juice 15ml, freshly squeezed
  • Ginger beer 85ml or to taste
  • Lime wedge to garnish
  1. Take a chilled long glass and fill with plenty of ice.
  2. Combine the rum, sugar syrup and lime juice in a mixing glass and give it a stir.
  3. Pour the rum mix over the ice in the glass and top up with ginger beer. Stir gently.
  4. Rub a wedge of lime around the rim then drop it in the glass.
