Salma Hage shares her cooling doogh recipe
Doogh

This classic cooling yoghurt drink is similar to Indian lassi, however the savoury flavours of this Middle Eastern variation lend to its distinct flavour

Serves    2
  • Plain yogurt 250ml
  • Milk  300ml
  • Sea salt  ¼-½ tsp
  • Dried mint 2 tsp
  • Ice to serve
  • Fresh mint sprigs to garnish
  1. Add the yogurt and milk to a large jug and stir well. Add the sea salt and dried mint and  stir again.
  2. Serve over plenty of crushed ice, with fresh mint to garnish.
